Sharman Joshi, Zarine Khan and Vir Das team up for a quirky comedy titled Nonsense. The film will be directed by debutant Ashwin Shetty and produced by Bhushan Kumar. A source said, “Ashwin has directed several TV commercials. Also, he was an associate director on Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Heropanti. Bhushan is quite impressed with Ashwin.”
Zarine Khan will play a journalist in the film, while Sharman and Vir will be seen playing NGO workers, who unite warring families. Harsh Limbachiya, who penned the TV show Comedy Circus, is writing the dialogues as well as the screenplay of Nonsense. This film will be a comeback of sorts in Bollywood for Zarine, who was last seen two years ago, in Housefull 2, which was directed by Sajid Khan.
Added the source, “Sharman and Vir were the first choices for the two male leads. The film requires actors with good comic timing, something both Sharman and Vir are known for. The duo will have the audience in splits.”
Nonsense is expected to go on floors in March and will be extensively shot in Shimla over a period of two months.
